Desk review

What happens between intake and the findings pack when you book a desk review.

The room

Our working console faces the glass on Queen’s Road Central. On rainy evenings the city softens behind the pane; inside, the only urgency is the accuracy of the next line. You do not need to sit with us the whole time โ€” many clients join for the opening hour and the closing briefing.

The flow

Intake packet

You send a sample export, note known problem zones, and name the deadline that matters. We confirm whether the engagement is a full drift audit, a duplicate sweep, or a missing-record recovery pass.

Working sheet

We load your register onto the desk console beside a clean working sheet. Identifiers, location codes, and condition notes become columns we can annotate without touching your master file.

Reconciliation hours

Each active line is checked against the evidence you provide โ€” shelf photos, path listings, box inventories. Drift, duplicates, and gaps are named as we go, not saved for a dramatic reveal.

Findings pack

You receive an annotated PDF, the working sheet, and a short briefing. Correction order is suggested; merges and master edits stay under your control.

What you should bring

  • An export of active lines (CSV or spreadsheet preferred)
  • Any older export from before a known move or migration
  • Access to someone who can answer location questions within a day
  • For on-site work: a clear table, power, and permission to photograph shelf marks

After the review

Most clients spend their own time applying corrections. We remain available for a follow-up clarification call within ten business days of delivery. A second engagement can cover the remainder of a large register.
